Custom Build Backyard Makeover

Being sports and entertainment enthusiasts, this Cobourg-area family was driven by a vision for their backyard makeover that allowed for three-out-of-four-season outdoor entertaining.

Large backyard gatherings were going to be a must, and knowing that the younger teenage kids were going to be using the backyard yard with friends would require a sports area and inground swimming pool.

For Mom and Dad, the requirements included a space to grill, lounge and hang out (which is why there is a raised deck with covered roof), a privacy wall, tv and fire pit, as well as a grill area, a pad for a future cabana and space for loungers around the pool.

As with a lot of newer home construction builds, this family wanted to set the tone for their family’s outdoor entertainment needs from the very beginning and chose to invest in what we think is a beautiful and extremely practical use of their existing space.
