This large Clarington, Ontario custom build home, on a ten-acre property and unique corner lot, required a very strategic design planning and design elements to accomplish their hardscaping and landscaping dreams.
Although the front and back of the home were separate, we were able to integrate them together with a blend of plants, hardscaping elements, textures and armour stone.
Included in this project was a large composite deck, or tanning area, just off the pool, along with a connection for a change area located in the detached garage.
We installed custom steps to tie in the barbeque area with the pool while the detached garage eventually doubled as a change area and golf simulator.
The fence was included specifically only around the pool as it was simply not realistic to fence 10 acres of property.
Sightlines from the road initially created no privacy, so the goal was to not close in the property like a suburban property, but still gain privacy through strategic planting which required not just a planting plan, but a plan that shielded the property from passing cars.
As this property was so large in scale, by using a variety of stone, composite, plants and large armour stone we were able to tie in areas of the home that were far apart.
By incorporating these many design elements, as well as strategic planning, we provided these homeowners with a beautiful complete landscaping project that tied in all areas of their property: From the front to the back, these homeowners can know they now have a beautiful home they can enjoy for years to come.
