The homeowners of this Scarborough, Ontario outdoor living space transformation envisioned an area that exuded luxury and elegance while providing a place for family and friends to enjoy day and night.
The focal point of this project was to be a custom 18×36 rectangle inground swimming pool that would be the centerpiece of the overall space, along with a separate patio area and dedicated fire feature where everyone could gather and keep warm during the cooler evenings.
Once the pool was designed and installed, we added a custom surround to accent the interlocking patio that spanned the majority of the space.
Two additional patterned stone patios were created to provide an area to lounge by the pool and for the fire feature area; the contrast in patterns and styles compliment the main interlock patio and result in a more upscale and elegant look and feel.
As a final touch, we installed an interlock walkway along the side of the house that leads to the backyard.
