Elegant Backyard Hardscaping & Landscaping

At our initial meeting, these Newmarket, Ontario homeowners expressed their desire for us to create the perfect balance between work and play.

Living an active lifestyle, it was important that this completely hardscaped backyard living area allowed for a very special place to get in their daily exercise early in the morning, as well as a relaxation oasis where they could decompress after a long workday.

In conjunction, it was also important that this was a space where these homeowners were able to entertain: An elegant space for work functions while simultaneously acting as a place of comfort to host family and friends.

As the job commenced, it was apparent the best way to accomplish this very specific vision was by incorporating many custom features.

In order to execute this, we had our architecture designer create a completely comprehensive design which included structural engineering for the custom backyard fireplace, deck and retaining walls.

By encompassing a beautiful and fully-customized masonry wall topped with a stunning fire feature, we allowed for both comfort and warmth, as well as a sense of elegance throughout the space.

A swim spa was put in to accompany these homeowners’ active lifestyles, which we added custom privacy screens in order to provide additional coverage.

Additionally, the use of natural stone throughout the walls and pillars, low voltage landscape lighting, composite decking and stairs allow for a functional space, alongside that elegant look.

Finally, but definitely important to note, was the use of the glass railing deck surround on the upper level to add a more modernized look.
